som rubriken lyder så skulle jag vilja ha instruktioner hur man pluggar vro:n på min johnson 90hk

bäst att ta det säkra för det osäkra och stänga igen innan pumpen lägger av

 

gärna bilder om det finns

Jag vet absolut inget om saken, men söka på nätet kan jag

 

Internet är fullt av info, här är ett som åtminstone för mig verkar tillförlitligt (på engelska dock, och tyvärr inga bilder): 

 

VRO Pump Conversion To Straight Fuel Pump

 

You can convert the VRO pump into a straight fuel pump, eliminating the oil

tank and VRO pump warning system, but retain the overheat warning setup by

doing the following:

1 - Cut and plug the oil line at the engine so that the oil side of the VRO

pump will not draw air into its system. Trace the wires from the back of the VRO to its rubber plug (electrical plug) and disconnect it.

2 - Trace the two wires from the oil tank to the engine, disconnect those two wires, then remove them and the oil tank.

3 - Mix the 50/1 oil in the proper amount with whatever quanity fuel you have.

Disconnect the fuel line at the engine. Pump the fuel primer bulb until fuel exits that hose with the tint of whatever oil you used. Reconnect the fuel hose.

 

Thats it. If you want to test the heat warning system to ease your mind, have the key in the on position, then ground out the tan heat sensor wire that youll find protruding from the cylinder head. The warning horn should sound off.

Disconnect is easy;

    (a)    Take the oil line off & plug.

    (    Unplug the alarm wiring if it has any (you can seal this to

stop moisture getting in if you want)

    (c)    Remove the oil tank so someone other than you doesnt think it

still has VRO

    (d)    Maybe put a little placard on the fuel filler stressing that

the engine needs tcw3 in the fuel @ 50-1 because the VRO is disconnected.

Jag gjord som så,drag ut kontakten till vro-pumpen , sedan pluggade ledningen och sedan blanda olja i tanken.//Johan

och vro pumpen sitter ????

ska blandas med 2 % eller vad är det för blandning

Vro-pumpen sitter på högra sidan av luftintaget när du öppnar kåpan om du sitter i båten. Det är bara att följa bensinslangen från tanken. 2 procent är nog bra.
