  1. Thanks. Basically I got issue solved already. Just used mast winch ladder and tied a rope to my mast to bring it closer to my position. I was surprised, that nobody was willing to winch me up here using my halyard. Should have been easiest solution as my boat mast is only something 7m high. I’m not a member of any sailing club and have no plans to join. Just stuck with my boat in Sweden too long. And maybe have to stay over winter here. Veiko
  2. Hi I’m in Malmo area with my small sailingboat and awhile ago managed to drop down foresail line. So, having only main is kind of temporary solution and I’m scared to take longer trips with her. The mast is over 7m meters high. If I would had harnesses and somebody will use halyard to pull me to the mast, then I would have done it. But I haven’t met anyone yet here willing to help. Sure, if somebody have crane code and we can move the crane… Thanks, Veiko
  3. Thanks. Will try, but seems that finding a Swedish person for the trip would be more convinient than Estonian. I have discussed with two of my old friends regarding a topic and what they think is, that I have to get the boat first to Estonia by trailer and put her to some garage for refurbishing. That's not my idea, because I spend at least three times more money here compared doing refurbishing in Nederlands and living in the boat. But I check Parnu and Kalevi out. Getting two persons from Estonia to Sweden will cost extra as well.

    Help needed

Hi I have had my dream having a small sailboat as my home long time. However, the prices in Mediterrean where over my budget. But few years ago I met a Swedish guy who showed me that there are lot of boats in Sweden to my budget and even promised to help me. However, he died recently. My dream would have been Albin Viggen, but at the moment any Ohlson 22 or Magnific Midget will do. I was ready to buy my boat then, but the lockdowns happened. Therefore, I went back my home country - Estonia and have stayed here since then. But now, when Europe is getting back to normality I could execute this dream. However, my sailing skills are yet no so good to take my boat from Sweden to Nederlands or Kiel. Therefore, I'm asking help from some Swedish guy who would like to take this kind of adventure to sail with me to Europe and teach me some sailing. Thanks, Veiko Herne
